Im trying to post my avatar.. and im sizing it as I should be, and i keep getting an error that it's still too big? anything im doing wrong? sorry, wasn't sure where to post this. Thanks, Jen

The pixel size may be the right size but the file size is likely too large.

I think that the image will be smaller (in terms of bytes) if you save it as a GIF image.

In Photoshop under the file menu go to save for web. Then choose gif, the pixel size and adjust the quality as needed.

Jen,
When you post it, it will tell you the max size, x pixels by x pixels. Then it is a matter od shrinking it to the correct size. I had to shrink mine the logo for the now defunct Quebec Nordiques who are now the Colorado Avalanche. Yes, I still follow the Avs. I have followed the Nordiques 1984-1985 to 1994-1995 and the Avs 1995-1996 thru the present.

you need to also make sure that it is 72DPI as well as the 80pixels square.. If the DPI is to big it comes out as a bigger image even if you are at 80 pix by 80 pix... that might help
