I found a bird shot that I really like, my bro said it was a white Ibus(sp?). But can I fix the colors on this shot? they just don't look right. Any help would be great!

It is a white ibis and the colors of the bird are about right. Focus looks a little soft but the background has a lot of potential. I like the crossed legs.

I agree with Mturnbo, The color of the Bird looks good to me. I would leave it.
Which lens did you use? The bokeh looks very good as well.
Gorgeous shot BTW. ;)

The crossed legged pose with the head tilt almost looks orchestrated. Very well done. I must admit that the BG is unusual and quite complementary to your capture.

Thanks guys, I didn't really think it was an awesome shot because the colors didn't look right, but I guess they do. Yeah, what really caught my attention was the background, it was a some type of tree, I can't think of the name. I used the Sigma 70-300mm and it's lowest f stop, because the xt can't adjust the fstop on that lens because it is old and needs rechipping.
Mturnbo- yeah that's why I want some L glass, all my lenses are soft .

If I had the RAW file, I would adjust the shadows up some and boost the contrast. That will make the background pop and separate it from the bird a little bit.

Ehh, it don't work for me, there is a dark outline around the bird, and I don't like that, thanks for trying though.
Canonloader- I didn't shoot that picture in RAW, sorry man, but I will play around with it, I should be able to figure out how to play with the contrast in CS2. Later guys

I played with the contrast and the curves, but I can't get the white on his neck to calm down a little, any tips? thanks guys
