Hi all great forum you have here, anyway after a recent trip to Hong Kong I was given a Canon Power Shot SD10 (great camera for the price), the camera works perfectly but I'm having problems with the USB driver, I start the ZoomBrowser EX ver 4.6, try and load the images from the camera but it always reports that no camera was found, if I then remove the USB driver and re-install it the software will then pick up the camera, I have to do this every time I need to use the software, is there a fix for this at all

My PC is running Windows XP

Thanks for taking time out to read this and I hope that with your help I can fix this annoying problem

Regards

If you have more than 1 usb device there ma be a conflict. I have this and sometimes it will not recognize my ader. If you unplug the usb cable then plug it back in with the camera connected it should pick it up.

check for updates for your driver... maybe a bug. Also check (if available) the communication setting of your camera, as well as the computer (driver)

Another option...get a 7-in-one card reader and go that way, you are eliminating the camera and well that is the way I do it as the 10D is ony USB 1.1 compatable and the card reader is 2.0. It is a ton faster thru 2.0.
