Action not working anymore

Hi all,
I've used the midnight sepia action for a few months now and it seemed to run just fine. However, for some reason, when I run it now, it goes through the different steps, stops where it allows for dodge and burn, and that's where I get stuck...trying to lighten or darken has no effect at all...It applies the effect, but I can't adjust it..Hope that's not to confusing. Anyway, would anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I know in my head what I want to say, but I don't know how to explain it ...

In your Actions palette, down the left hand side, there's two columns. The first column has ticks in it, the second column has little tiny "dialogue box" icons. (These aren't visible in Button Mode, so turn off Button Mode if you can't see what I'm talking about.)

This is my understanding ... beside each step of an action, any steps that don't need your input will have a blank square in the second column. If a step needs your input, you'll see one of those little "dialogue box" icons beside it.

My advice is: Maybe your little icon has been turned off at the lighten/darken step. Check and see.

I could be on totally the wrong track. It's the only thing I can think of.

Did you have your actions saved anywhere? Can you re-load them and see if it works again?

Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate your effort. I went ahead, uninstalled photoshop and installed again, as well as all actions. It's working just fine now..Again, many thanks!!

It's to late now but I find this happens as well with some actions. I simply delete from PS and the reload. It's not failed me yet :D
