Flipping heck! Now that is what I was talking about...ok, well talk about a new way to do advertising on billboards! Where can I get one and how much?
Just another idea...can you imagine that in digital back? What would that be the terapixel image?

Well the scan is 2.6Gb....
Anyone want to put that into approximate MP?

Here's a WAG...
All things being equal...1 byte per pixel on the 10D 6.3MP gives you a 6.3MB pic, at RAW...turn it to a TIFF it is 36MB (16 bit). Wait a second, the 10D is 12bit so there is some "fluff" if you will. Ok, so really it might be about 24 MB w/ 8 MB fluff. So now math people comes division...
(I can hear the groans...no worries, I hate maths too!)
6.3(MP)/24MB = XX.XX(MP)/2600MB
6.3*2600=16380
16380/24=682.5MP
So 682.5MP is what I get. It isn't nealy as impressive as I though...although look at the size you can do w/ 11MP like the 1Ds.
That's my WAG, all maths shown above so you can see where I am coming from.
