Hello everyone!
I am missing visitors counter on index page. I am sure that someone knows how to make it visible like it was in previous versions? Every help is welcome!
And another question for design gurus ;-):
can someone share with us, noobs, how to implement our own header, logo or graphic on index and all other pages?
I see lots of great galleries you guys have and it would be just great to share with the rest of us your design changes. I already found in this forum loads of great suggestions and implementations and I am sure someone will do it again and share his work with the rest of us who are not such a php and scripting profis. ;-) We must help each other, because Pekka has already done a huuuuuuuuuge job :-o and we can't expect him answering every post in this forum. :-)
Best regards to everyone and thanks for your help!
And all my compliments to Pekka!
Sanja

Okay... Seems that I missed the counter which is now in the middle and not on the right side of the index page. ;-/
Sorry!

Well, I think it's a photo click counter and not a visitor counter ;-)

But, as UweB mentioned in his post, there are a lot of clicks generated by search robots, so that counter value does not tell you what photos are most popular, but what photos are visted most by search engines ;-)

Some time in the past, I wrote a small script that analyses log entries from the apache webserver, filters out request from known bots, and generates a set of SQL statements to correct the counter values. Since one would have to run it on a regular basis, it was just an experiment to see how much the real counter values would be...
