Portrait help

This was a candid shot of my daughter. I know that if it would have been taken in a studio the lighting would be done differently but this was taken in a dark auditorium. It was taken with a DRebel, 50 MM 1.8 and Sigma 500 DG Super flash (1/60, F2.8). Post processing was curves and USM (which I think I overdid). What do you guys think?
