New Site

I finally have a new web site up and running using Pekka's Exhibit Engine (1.21). Many thanks to Pekka for his help getting me on track and for providing this marvelous exhibition system. I will be using the site for my Canon D30 images.

Lovely presentation and beautiful pictures. I've only had time to look at the flower shots and would like to make a suggestion. Try Auto-Contrast or Auto-Levels -- I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the results.

Thanks for the compliments and suggestion Don. I usually make manual levels (or curves) adjustments, but probably could have done a better job on some of the underexposed flower images. Auto contrast and auto levels certainly will give images some "pop", but I don't like the excessive histogram clipping these procedures produce that can block up shadows and more importantly blow out delicate highlights. Auto levels will also produce some weird color shifts in some images.
