I am beginning photographer, so any advice and comments are welcome. These were all shot with a XTi and a kit 75-300 f4-f5.6 III lens. Thank you for all your inspiring photos I have been drooling over for the last week or so when I discovered this forum!

Thanks again, to every one who posts pictures, for the inspiration. Unfortunatly, now I have a lot of saving $ to do!

Well, they look good, but are too small. Maybe crop out the junk and just show the birds in a final image no bigger than 800px on the long side. That should show the birds at a decent size in the forum. The image quality will depend on how sharp the original was. With a 400D they ought to be pretty sharp.

With a decent crop I think #3 will look great.

Welcome, nice shots of Burrowing Owls. Looks like you got closer than I've been able to, to the ones here.

I love these shots! They just need a bit of crop so we can make these little guys the subject of the scene. Give the shots a bit of work and I think you may have some keepers there!

Keep on posting.
