I parked behind this beautiful example of a car and couldn't resist whipping out the camera. I'm an amateur in the strictest sense of the word so be nice. :)

I think there's just a little TOO much space on the bottom but I understand what you were going for. The sign/plaque/cover thing is definitely cool looking imo.
Maybe you could've shot at a higher angle and pointed down more.

I think you should leave the space above the car and not below

I would have shot it with the building in the background and just a bit of street to lead the eye up.

Even if you're making a print, there's no reason to crop to YY x ZZ dimensions? I'd crop both top & bottom.
Nice shot. Now you can learn how to take out the car reflected in the side? ;)
