Now that I have a 2 gig microdrive, I have started shooting in RAW with my 10d. On a different post, someone asked if one can shoot RAW without a JPG. I would be happy to have it WITH a jpg. All that I get are .CRW and .THM files and NO jpgs.

I can create .jpgs in Canon File Viewer Utility, but that takes forever, especially on my laptop (1gig pentium III with 256 meg memory) - 45 minutes to create 110 jpgs from the .CRW and .THM.

If there are jpgs in there that I just have to extract, someone tell me how!

The JPG files are embedded in the CRW ones. You can extract them with FVU or the just announced EOS Viewer utility (EVU). Just go to File -> Save File -> Extract - Save JPEG. Also EVU is faster converting RAW files, so just download it from Canon site and give it a try :)
