I have a Canon Powershot A70, an old tripod missing the piece that attaches the camera to the tripod (Camera is held on by 2 rubberbands) I am 18 years old and have had no training or classes. Been taking 'art' type photos for about 2 months now. please tell me what you think. MOST of my decent to good photos and Photoshop art work can be found here>> http://loud3nergy.deviantart.com/ << in the above pictures I did some minor sharpening in PS. PLease tell me what you think :D and I am looking fowardd to m aking friends and LEARNING :D I <3 to learn

I think you have a natural eye for finding good subjects and good composition. The only things you can improve are little things:

In the house picture, the left most part of the roof in cut off. No big deal, but it's something I noticed, which subsequently took my attention away from the actual subject.

The cannon and the angel both have overexposed background skies. Hard to avoid, unless you want to do the two exposure-composite thing, which is a considerable amount of PS work. FWIW, I think you found the best compromise.

great photos, I'm sure many of the old guys here wish they could've taken pictures like that at your age.

Great shots!

You definately have an eye for this..

One suggestion. though not towards a particular image.. I just notice that pretty much all of your oimages above have the subject in the dead center of the frame...

Try to experiment with more dynamic compositions by putting the subject off center.. this can help to portray movement or force the veiwer into shifting there own persepctive..

Keep posting :)
