I can't believe I found something almost as addictive as digital photography!!

Reading and participating in this forum!! I may never get any work done again... But I'd better if I want to be able to afford all the stuff this forum is making me buy...

Hey, come on, we don't *make* you buy anything.

It's more like a deep, invasive, subconscious suggestion that can't be completely understood until you make the purchases... :)

Soon we will be forming a support group for the people that are addicted to this forum.

My god, if they ever pulled my browser history at work.

You know -- on another forum that I frequent, we call this the "Unseen Mystical Force," or UMF for short....

I'm on the road right now. I've spent 6 of the last 10 nights in hotels, and on each of those occasions I've paid an extra $10.00 for high-speed internet access. This was not for checking email; it was to see what you guys were up to and to make sure nobody was besmirching my good name.

We’re leaving for home tomorrow, and expect to arrive there in about a week---we are not taking a direct route but want to skip down to Florida and then head west from there. That means at least another 7 nights in hotels, perhaps another $70.00 in high-speed internet access fees, more prowling through hundreds (perhaps thousands) of your posts full of inane prattle followed by my own long, incoherent responses.

At least I actually got to visit B&H today. Not their website---the real thing. I can at least die happy now, content with the knowledge that I have finally seen the Promised Land.**

(**Note: If you ever go to New York, make the trip to B&H. You have never experienced anything like it in your life. Before you go to the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, or any of the 'touristy' places---before you do anything, go see B&H. You may not have strength left to do anything with after that.)

You know, when Ian was away for a few days we besmirched his name A LOT.

Belmondo is gone for TWO WEEKS and we say nothing.

Yet he accused many of us of going off the deep end...

Hmmmm.... Let the besmirching begin!

But please note that most of the camera shops in New York City are Jewish owned, so they are not open on Saturday. I regularly travel to New York and for some reason, always find myself standing in front of B&H with a "Doh" on a Saturday afternoon!

But take nothing except your drivers license with you. No credit cards, no cash, no checkbook, nothing ! Unless you wanna walk out with a full cart and big debts !
