I played and played with the colored pencil. let me know what you think. Is it something I should even show to the happy couple?

Looks to "amateurish" to me, sorry. Perhaps just the original in B&W might be a nicer option.

While it seems to be quite well done I agree with Anke.

Thanks for the reply. I've never tried to do the "artistic" section of CS2, just thought I'd play around with it. I actually quite like it, but that's why I need opinions. Does anyone have a colored pencil image that I can see? Here's a BW

Not that there is anything wrong with playing around in PS, more the merrier actually. I just thought that it wouldn't go down too well with your customer.

I also agree with the other about the pencil sketch. If anything, the outline on the pencil is too dark. The B&W suits very well.

Is it just me or is the top of the glasses on his head left untouched, it looks like the lenses are left intact (original) and everything else is penciled. Anyways no I agree, I don't really care for it - not for something like this anyways. Nothing wrong with the colored version, altho I think it would make a nice B&W, the sepia toned one you have is nice as well (its got a brown tint on my monitor).

I love the kind-of-sepia one! I also like the original a lot. The pencil one I can appreciate, because Iam always messing and playing with my photos, too. I even do neon glow sometimes (something you don't want to admit on here;))... but the pencil one would be good to show them how they will look in 10- 15 years or so... it brings out the lines and such.
