the white ghosting looks kind of weird, i like the colors but i have no idea what it is.

I like it too...but I'm also puzzled about what it is. My guess is a foil-wrapped chocolate of some sort.

Yep, it's a row of jelly babies. The black one has it's sugary (floury) coating washed off, that's why he's so shiney.

Taken with a 100mm f/2.8 lens with a very tight DOF. I selectively raised the levels drastically on the OOF babies and the opposite on the black one. The halo effect around it came from my slap-dash quick-masking in Photoshop.
