She has really good skin. I would try for a background that is maybe lighter or more out of focus so that I can clearly follow the curve of her shoulder. Otherwise, I like the effect with the shadows.

I know this photo can't be that bad to critique.
I see very few model pics, I'm I in the wrong forum. Could this be the reason for the silence or is my work that bad or uninspiring that it is not worth comment.
I will post more (or less) if I get some feedback.

Well I hadn't comented because I can't really tell you how to improve it.
I'm not crazy about it. Beautifull Model and the pose looks good but I'd loose the hoops, and the background and shadows bother me.
Keep shooting and posting :D

This could be a first class photo, but it isn't. Her right tit is much too aggressive, just look at it, you'll know what I mean, and the shadows are fooling with the observer, at first I really couldn't determine the body line, because the shadows kind of blend with it except the triangle under her right breast. I'd call this bad luck, a pro might call this an untrained eye. I guess sometimes it is hard to judge over your own shots because in your memory there are parts that are not on the photo. But I still like the photo. Later this evening I'll play around with it a little in PS.

I lol at karusel's crack about her right tit. But on further inspection, I
think he's right. Nothing else about the pic bothers me. I think it's quite good and would serve its purpose in the correct setting.

I like the photo, but I have the impression that her hand and arm are too big compared to her very slender body and face. Maybe it's the loose dress and the length of the fingernails that gives me the impression.
B+W works great with her (no wonder ) but the pose does not work optimally for me.
Do you have other shots of her to compare the poses?
Best regards,
Andy

Andy,
Thanks, yes I have many poses it was a three hour shoot. I will post another one seperately. The hands do seem large but I kind of like it, not that I could have done anything about it really.
Karusel,
Do you mean her left breast (our right)? If so yes it is slightly sheer and was actually intentional. Rich agrees with you about being distracting or too aggresive so you may have a point. I'm not so sure though. I actually did the shadow thing on purpose so now you got me second guessing myself. I didn't want anything to really jump out except her face. The thought was the shadows would then carry the viewers eye through out the rest of the photgraph. So that the eye would start at the face go down her arm across her breast up her thy back to her face. Maybe way too much thought and it doesn't seem like I have accomplished that. So thanks for your critique.
Rich,
Thanks man.
Tbel, Volatile,
Thank you. You reinforce the consensus that the shadows are distracting. I'm starting to sway your way.
I will post another one soon, further comments very welcome.

Like I said, it's the right brest that is wrong, heh. Definetely not too much thought, I cannot recall how my eyes travelled when I saw it first but the composition works for me, with the exception of what I previously noted.

Ok, I made this in haste, it should be good enough...

Puzzlingly enough, I did not even touch her tit (it's the exact same size) I just corrected her top and voila, no more aggressive sexuality. Also I adjusted the shadows a bit.

Sorry  I didn't want to come off that way.
What I meant to say was, when I first looked at it I didn't have anything constructive to say, so I said nothing.
