The colors look soooo much better in Photoshop, saving for the web kills them. Any input on that problem would be nice too.

Nice shot :)

Are you sure you are working in rgb mode before saving the jpeg?

Also, I would make that building disappear in order to make that black area uniform. It's alittle bit disturbing.

Please note that I'm not an expert (at all).

I love the sky, only this that bugs me, is i see enough of what looks like a roof to peak my interest, but since everything else is siloutted, im lost wondering.

I have to agree with Canon10D
However, I dropped it into PS and had a little play - there are some lovely purples which could be brought out and also a little more detail of that roof and the field.

I may grab grief for this, but I tried something a little different. The colors were nice, but for kicks, I tried converting it to grayscale. I actually think it's quite nice. It gives it a totally different feel. Let me know what you think...

Yeah that's part of the problem I was speaking about when I said I was having problems with the colors when saving it for the web. The colors in pshop on my screen are MUCH more dramatic than the version that I posted. I just couldn't figure out how to save it and keep them. The lower portion is much more exposed and not silhouetted (if that's even a word!?).

I dig the grayscale too HKMonkey, I may give that a shot on the original too.

Try cropping this photo so that the silo is two thirds of the way down and two thirds of the way to the left. Beautiful!
