Ok yes it is, and a damn hard one at that. I took this photo at my companys Golf event. I really liked this photo because it shows the focus and the preswing work that goes into Golf. To many the put is where the game is won. Hope you like.

Nice composition, looks a tad washed out (at least on my monitor)

What's with the white lines? Did the have a 'straightest putt' contest?

Got any action shots?

I like it a lot, but the color seems a bit, well.. green. I suppose on a golf course that can hardly be avoided, but still, everything seems to have a strong green cast that seems a bit unnatural. I suppose the color of the green (putting green) is reflected onto his pants and a bit onto his shirt, so that probably explains it. Is there any chance of seeing a dramatic black and white conversion?

It looked a bit green overall to me too - and since you had your "Image Editing Okay" turned on, I took a stab at fixing the color a bit:

I'll take a whack at it, too, since you did;)

I think it needs a deeper green

and here's a B&W

Deka - skin still looks a bit green, but I agree, mine needs a deeper green in the grass. I know there is a way to change the color just on those areas with photoshop, but I don't know the program well enough to do it.

I ran your B&W conversion through Neat Image to get rid of some of the noise:

LOL, I added noise to give it that "sports page" look

LOL - the OP probably thinks we're nuts since he probably liked his original image!

Wow thanks guys, I really do like the redo that dekalbSTEEL did, Ill try some deeper greens and very nice B&W guys. I have more shots that I just need to go threw. Also yes this was from the first part of the day which was a putting contest.

I like the image but agree w/ the green issues. The BnW's look pretty good for this one.

Man this guy takes forever to putt... :p

Nice photo, compositionally pretty good, I think I might have included the hole in the shot if it was possible, that being his object of concentration, or one of them.

To answer your question, no, golf is not a sport. It's a skill. The game is not won by the fittest player. This gentleman pounded everyone from tea boy to managing director, yet needed a cart for the back nine.
