LOVED the slideshow. Great effects, great pics, perfect song too. It is not hard to tell you are in the UK by the big hats on the ladies at the wedding. Hats are not common here in the US, except at the Kentucky Derby, but I love them and wish they were! Good job!

The hats are definitely nice and add to the occasion here in the uk Sue, they also keep the rain out of your eyes when its lashing it down like it was on Sunday here ! :)

DJ, you only like it because its got lashings of showit effects in there ;)

Lovin the app though, its just perfect for whipping the small jpgs through on the day, although we also use it afterwards for our post processing now as well now that we have added some more actions to it.

Thanks again

I don't know what I like more, the pictures or the music. I'm a huge Phil Collins fan. Great work!

Great shots!!! Was that your monitor in that one shot? Did you do a slideshow at the wedding? I love all the kid shots, they were excellent. I don't know why but I'm not a big fan of the song but that is totally personal preference. I love how you did all the kid shots. And how you got the groom crying. Really nice work :)

Great photos! For the slideshow, do you have access to use of the music in the background as far as copyrights and all, or did you just put it in? I often wonder the legalities of that.

Nope that was a screen they put up as part of the Grooms speech that told the story of how they met etc .... I think the video guy had the clips together for them.

This is the slideshow from the wedding, we always show them on our laptop even if a screen is available as I prefer people being huddled round it watching it rather than having it on a big screen, added to which showit doesnt work well at big sizes as it tends to judder if you have movement in the pics.

The song isnt really my cup of tea either but it was what they were having for their first dance so thats why I used it.

We just put it on there as it was the song they used for the first dance and we only intended to show the slidehsow at the wedding.

Thanks to all for the nice words about the pics, this was probably our most stressful wedding yet due to weather and other things going on during the day and I was really nervous part way through the day that we just werent getting the shots but I was quite pleased when we started looking through them to make the mini album and slideshow.

I don't often click links but I'm so glad I did this time.

Fabulous photo's of a couple who look like naturals in front of the camera.

Excellent work.

Too bad. I'm looking for a way to legally get the copyright to add one or two songs to someone's photo CD by paying the music company a nominal fee each time I would make a CD. If anyone knows, let me know.

Theres tons of royalty free music available out there and also reasonably priced buy out music, also with Showit Web you get some music supplied with it that has been properly licensed for use so your freely able to use it.

Great pictures and I love how you did the slide show. How did you make that? Do you use a special program or is it a website?

Beautiful presentation....

Some images went by quickly... almost too quickly... wish I could study some... You did a great job. They should be very happy.

Peace
Eric

Its made in ShowitWeb which is just perfect for throwing slidehows together quickly timed to music to show at weddings and or to put on your blog afterwards ... its a great marketting tool and is available from http://www.showitfast.com/

So we shoot Raw + small JPG and upload them to our Mac at the wedding and whizz through the JPG thumbnails starring our faves and some that tell the story of the day that we want to include in the show, we then copy them into a slideshow directory and point showitweb at it. Then you either choose the music and template thats already in there or as I did in this use your own music and make the timings up yourself just by watching it through... its all very quick to do and thats the beauty of it ..... well that and the fact that moving photos + music timed to them creates emotion ... which is a great marketing tool :-)

Thanks Eric, its kinda designed to leave you wanting more, thats always part of my idea to make people want to come and see the show again on the website or the proofs when we put them up. You can however browse through the photos in the show, click the box on the bottom right of the show (browse gallery view) and you can see thumbnails and also browse through the images at your own speed once youve clicked one thumbnal.
