Lots of lovely shots, I'm particularly fond of the Elias shot through the Esses and the one of Hayden, although I'd crop both a bit tighter

Pretty sweet captures there.
Share some techniques with us? I see from the Exif (thank you) that you're using 1/640 and 1/800 Tv and it looks like you are catching them at zero speed (relative to you) such as when they pass thru the apex of the turn.
How is my assesment?
What else?

Cheers Dan,
It was my time shooting bikes so i must admit i played it pretty "safe" with alot of the shots, although the Hayden shot was 1/125th. I only took shots on the Saturday and i must admit i found it quite difficult to find some good places especially when shooting through the wire fences and about 1.2 million marshalls and 6.75 million media guys to shoot around

Nice work Darren. I really like #2 and #7.
Donington is not very photographer friendly.

Second shot is cracking. Personally not a fan of the tilted camera but that's not reflection on the results of your photos. Great results for your first bike session

Darren,
These are really, really nice. Well done in getting these shots, particularly shooting through fences and battling with the thousands of spectators that I'm sure were there. If I'm going to pick one out, then it's the shot of Nicky Hayden. For what it's worth, I think that tilt shots actually work quite well with bikes, and that you've used them well in this selection.
Cheers,
Simon.

Cheers Simon, yours comments are always very much appreciated. Agree with that the bikes do work with the tilted shots(IMO, not cars though)

Got to agree with everybody else here Darren, a great set of shots in what sounds like poor conditions, at least it wasn't raining :)

Very nice indeed Darren :)
All credit to you for enduring the weather, the crowds AND Donington all at the same time. You've got a hell of a lot more patience than i have ;)

Incredible shots! Very well done. As good as any I have seen on superbikeplanet.com
Man, whoever developed the graphics and the color scheme of the Repsol bikes must have been a photographer because the colors work so well in a picture.
I am going to Laguna Seca this year (again) and I really hope to get some shots that are half as good as these. This will be my first year there with a real camera, and I am praying for some cloudy mornings. Hope it helps.
