I think it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. I don't think either of these two printers are going to give you the same color you'll get from a photo processor, so it depends on what your needs are. I just bought a C84 myself so I could use the quadtone BW inks from MIS inks to print BW photos. If you're concerned about refills, get a continuous ink system (quadtone BW or color) from MIS and do it all for about 10% of the cost of buying refills.
