These were taken a few weeks ago, just sorting through some of my images deciding which are worthy of posting :)

Ant:

Jumper:

A St. Andrews with prey (moth by the looks of it):

And my first Dragonfly in flight shot (taken when I was up holidaying at my parents place six or so weeks ago):

Edit: Yes I know the DIF shot is pretty crappy, screwed the exposure badly and it's a heavy crop (taken with the 1D + 300mm f4, was hovering over a creek a fair ways out...).

Like the first 2, Dave, really good shots.
Never mind about the DIF it's a shot!!!!!!!!!!

Well spiders over ants for me every time Dave. At lease you were quick enough to get the DIF and there is always the next time :-)

Thanks guys :) Quick enough to get the DIF in shot yes, quick enough to do a decent job on it, no. Need more practice.

Nice series - #1 and #2 have excellent detail - but I really like #3 for the subject matter - quite an unusual looking spider!
