I am sending out a message to the local class of 2008.
So what do you think about the message. I am trying to use this as self AD / promo; however I would also like to use this as a way to help remind seniors to get them done for the yearbook, etc.

So what do you think, am I going about this correctly?:)

Please make any changes that you think would help!

Thanks Again

howdy, fellow yearbook photography editor! i just had my senior photos done a few weeks ago—the pro. and myself discussed various lenses and our 30D's. They were making him use a Nikon on site.

I didn't change any of the text, but I've edited some of the grammar/punctuation/spelling.

Good luck with your sales!

seniors should being preparing (shouldnt that be "be" and no being?)

YOU'RE CHEAP :P , but not to bad...to the point and not wordy which is a good thing, but it seems a bit choppy IMO. It doesn't flow very well but I think I might of lost some of it, my computers being idiotic right now and I believe a few parts of sentences were lost in the opening process. I want to get into senior pics a little more, doing a few girls I coach this year for $100 + print costs and pretty much the same you mentioned. Cheap compared to others in the area, but hey it's "my girls" :)

Very true it should be "be". I fix it.
I will do a bit more editing, but then I'll be sending it out.
Thanks.

The phrase "every senior's last school year" is redundant. The fact that they're Seniors already implies that it's their last year in high school. And I agree on the pricing. I haven't seen your work, but I'd bet you could easily raise your rates without hearing too many complaints. It's usually not a good thing if everyone thinks you're the "cheap" photographer. I've found that if you have a few people say your prices are cheap, and a few saying you're too expensive, then you're probably in the right ballpark.
