Has anyone here use the Ultrapod II or recommend any Mini tripod for 10D.

With a 10D? Probably ok, unless you want to have a lens on it . . .

I've got a couple of the Minolta table top tripods that I use for macro work and the like, with the 10D. I actually use them more to position Vivitar 283's if I need them as a background light.

These tripods are more or less Leitz knockoffs and are very well made. I got my second one for $10 at a buy-and-sell shop about year ago, and have no idea if they're still produced.
