Picture look okay but it’s seem black is over burning everything and a lot of detail being lost.

Thanks... anyone else? Just trying to get as much feedback as possible and learn as I go. Thanks!

I think they look great, agree about the black but the concept is bang on imo

I think they are fine the way they are. Doesn't bother me.

Peace.

I agree with the first poster on the first image. Cute pics though...

Cute captures...aside from their tuxes/suits blending in with the background I think they're good. Were they all ringbearers? With the second one, try dodging the eyes just a little to make it more of a compelling shot.

The second is REALLY nice... even with the clipped shadows. I could see it being used on a card or billboard. Captivating facial features... That kid needs to be a model...

Again a slight problem with the black suits. Real nice photos though. To me the first one would make a cracking album cover. Mind you so would the second for that matter

Very cute. I had the same thoughts about the album cover.

The black suits and hair do bleed into the background though.

Love the concept.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I'm still new to the post processing thing. The background is not so dark in the originals. When I get some time, I'll try to redo them a little bit.

Learning a lot here!

Great work!! The second shot is a priceless expression, good job capturing that. Good use of color, and I love the strong diagonal line of the railing cutting through the frame. In the first shot, I don't know if it would have been possible, but I would have liked to have seen what it would look like without the chairs in the background. You have such great lines with the railing, and the lines of the chairs criss-cross though there and distract the eye from the main subjects. This creates so many subjects that it sort of overwhelms the eye.
Good work, and thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I see what you mean about the chairs. Yes, I could have (and maybe should have) moved them.

the black makes the clothes disappear in the background
