was fooling around with the new macro lens... set it up for some long exposures on my computer's screen saver. got some interesting results. when i looked at the shots i saw a million dust bunnies and was all set to return the defected lens ~next time i'll have to clean off the computer screen first. here's one with a bee, covered in pollen, landing for more, with a second shot of a sunset "superimpossed." wuddyathink?

I think it is very nice. Surpised it has not gotten more comments. Maybe it should be in the macro section.

Thanks, mebailey. You must've found this on page 4. Wasn't too concerned that my last 2 photo posts were ignored. They were kinda weird and not much anyone could really say. I know everyone still loves me; my photos still leave much to be desired. You must be like me, searching for the zero-comments post. Thanks again.

I like the look of the photo. I've been wanting to experiment with various layers of colour. I think this is pretty cool. That bee looks pretty hairy, though! haha.

Thanks, willy_b, and this is a great place to learn. Hey, I tried going to your website a couple times, but it doesn't work. Do you need to fix the URL in you profile?

Thanks, KAS. Funny you should say that about colors. I've been diggin' you b&w stuff a lot. This is an interesting (& quick) way to do composites. Of course you could use more than one photo.
That's pollen on the bee. Here is the original (http://lightwriterpix.com/msa/displayimage.php?album=search&cat=0&pos=6). Hit that one to get an even larger view. Thanks for looking. Now I'm looking forward to your experiment.

Seems to be working fine for me Marty. Think it takes a while to load. It is only a cheap and crappy free one lol

Thanks, Coach51!
I'd like to see some more composites that included multiple photos...could be a fun project in the future. To actually PLAN one would be an effort, I'd imagine. My approach typically involves post-shoot discoveries. haha.

Yes, it was working fine today, Willy. I'll send you a PM.
Thanks, Coach51!

This is easy KAS, and planning would also be a breeze. You select 2 or more photos, let them run for, say, 5 seconds each in a slide show on your desktop, and set up to take a 30-second exposure of your screen. Make adjustments accordingly. If you get one you like, please PM me when you post it so I won't miss it. Thanks.

Good Idea...I'll start through some photos and see if any would look good together. I might be more inclined to layer them in photoshop, though. Time to start searching.
And post more when you've made them
