That was pretty incredible, wasn't it? Hard to believe what happened to the other photographs from Omaha Beach--3 rolls of Robert Capa's film destroyed in processing (only the 11 frames on the fourth roll made it), film, still and motion, falling into the ocean from a man's pack when he was climbing up a net ladder, never to be seen again.

Yes it was. I am now watching MSNBC on their D-Day at 60 brodcast. I was listening the old radio reports and the movie where bombs (~50) were falling to the sky.
