Good shot- composition is good as well- perhaps might be better with the 2nd valve further away (more OOF and smaller)

Agreed. 6882 tubes by the looks of it? I have fond memories of a home made (not by me) 211 triode single ended amp running a pair of Sonus Faber Guarneri Homages (not my system either, I wish!).

Welcome to the forum, I might have taken this in portrait due to the shape of the subject. You could have laid the second valve down on it's side to give the shot a little more interest if you wanted a landscape shot.

AH, the smell of tubes glowing red hot over driven to extreme.
Nice shot as well.

Good shot - nice focus - you can really see the DOF limitation that comes in with macro - the fly must have been damned fast though, its just out of frame ;)
