Hi everybody I'm new to the forum, next month I'll come to live in UK(London)for 2 months, when possible I'll like to go Brands Hatch to take some pictures(I see that on august there is the superbike and the btcc), I'm totally new to this track so I don't know where are the best places for taking pictures, I'll need some advices about it. Unfortunately the longest lens in my equipment at the moment was a 135mm with a canon 30d, maybe i could buy an exteder x1.4 but I gotta save money and I don't think I'll buy it soon, then i've got an almost useless 50 1.4(I mean, for this kind of photography) but as I've said before I don't know the track and maybe there are places when is possible take picture even with the 50
Thanks you in advance

With your longest lens a 135mm the only place you will have any success shooting bikes is on the inside of Druid's hairpin. Have fun.

Yes, the inside of Surtees is possible but I don't like it because it's a bit of a "one trick pony". There is only really one shot that works there and it's quite a walk to anywhere else that's usable.

As to your question, both of those locations (Druids inside and Surtees) are public areas. No media accreditation required.

Also worth thinking about is going on the practice days prior. Wsb race day is always packed solid but the Fri and Sat pratice days are much less crowded and allow you to get better positions.

Just ordered my Wsb tickets the other day, C'mon sunshine :)
