Maybe a stupid question as I know there is no ceiling to bounce from :D . I made myseft a bounce card from those foamies. How can I use my 430ex for fill?

Outdoors fill, I would just point the flash right at the subject and use FEC to control the amout of fill.

You can 'bounce' off anything, even a white reflective card which is larger in surface area than the native lens of the flash, to make light 'softer'. If the bounce surface is NOT larger, then don't bother because you are just wasting effort for no gain at all!

Outdoor fill requires a lot of flash power, and most of it is wasted if you try to bounce the flash off a card or something. There's really not much benefit to making your light source larger when it's being used for fill.
Do as Wonny suggests - point it straight ahead and adjust FEC to get the look you want.

Or.. if you were to persuade a friend to dress up as a ghost (white sheet etc.) you could position them and use them to bounce...
I'll go now...

It's easier to convince a female friend to wear gold or silver lamé cocktail dress
