I would like some some advice on which book would give best tutorials on cs2. Can anyone suggest what you think would be the best buy for the money?

Two books I can personally recommend are:
Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Photographers: A Professional Image Editor's Guide to the Creative Use of Photoshop for the Macintosh and PC by Martin Evening
&
Adobe Photoshop CS2 (Classroom in a Book) by Adobe Creative Team
Others swear by Scott Kelby books too.

This sounds like the ticket. I want something in a classroom type format. Thanks!

Take a look at the book thread in my sig, recommendations are there. Also any books you buy from amazon using those links earns POTN money through the associates program.

I have quite a few CS2 Photoshop books (CS2 classroom in a book, CS2 one on one and a few others) I really Enjoy Kelby's Adobe Photoshop CS2 for digital photographers.

Tim and Carpenter: I looked at Tim's book thread and found that both of you suggest the book by Scott Kelby, Photoshop CS2 for photographers. That sets my course. Thanks: Tony
Tim; PS: I'll get it on Amazon.

Tim: I ordered the book through your link but was wondering if It did any good to order another book (on golfing) on the same purchase. I don't imagine it would help the cause???

If you decide which one(s) you want, and they are in my "gear" signature, make an offer.

Yes, it helps, click the link for any book, add anything else to your cart, and POTN gets money from it :)

I already ordered my book but saw this: Blue Crane 430/580ex training DVD. Is that on the "don't need anymore" list as well. If so, what would be a reasonable price???

Going on the premise that the only stupid question is the one not asked...what does POTN stand for?
