#2 definitely. Lovely colors composition and beautiful clouds! I love the mood and feel of it. However, the border is just not cutting it for me with the overally large sized font + copyright symbol. Sorry, the gray color and the shadow of the photo isn't really fitting the photo itself.

I say #1 but with the stipulation that it needs more contrast. The colors are just better.

Looks to me like a picture of a sky - an angry sky.
Take away the sky, and it's an image of a road, some grass, a distant warehouse, and some even more distant houses.
I suspect the OP shot this picture for the sky.
The sky in No.1 is angrier. The sky in No.2 is a pussycat.

I prefer #1. I like the subtle look. #2 looks like an HDR image, while #1 looks more natural.

i voted for number 2 but id rather have one in between them both.

I think number one is better and agree that is need more contrast. I see a lot of posterization in the sky of number two. I don't know if that is from the jpeg compression or not.
