I saw that Phase One is offering the upgrade to their v3.5 free to all current C1 users (for the same version, i.e., LE-->LE, PRO-->PRO) and thought it sounded great.

But then I was poking around the forums at RawWorkFlow.com (http://www.rawworkflow.com) and saw that several people had upgraded to PRO 3.5 and found it so buggy they said they were going back to 1.3.

I was just wondering if anyone here has taken advantage of the free upgrade and what your experience was?

Well, no, but I'll be upgrading to SE (from LE) when the free trial expires this week.

It is indeed buggy, but fixes and further enhancements are forthcoming. Whether or not the bugs affect your work is up to you. They don't affect me or my workflow at all, and I find the new version to be superior to the old.

I upgraded from C1 Rebel to LE 3.5 and have had no problems since it was launched.

At present, it is pretty hard to beat ....

I updated to v.3.5 from 1.3 (Pro) and have no problems with it. Yes there are a few quirks that need attention, but not to the point that the program doesn't work well. I am certain that PhaseOne will put out an update. They are aware of the issues.

I also take what complainers say with a grain of salt. Remember, there are many people that swear Microsoft ME is better than XP

  ME was one of the worst versions of Windows there has been, and XP is one of the best!

I haven't upgraded from C1 LE version 1.3.1 to 3.5 yet. I've read that the first version of 3.5 even took away functionality (don't remember what it was), which Phase One promised to put back in in a coming maintenance release after protests from users. I'll wait until 3.5 stabilizes.
