Hi

Just got the S30 and am loving it! I read in one of the topics that transferring images via a card reader is much faster than the straight USB camera-to-computer deal... and it saves some power. So will just any CF card reader do? I didn't bother shopping for one but the ones I saw seemed kinda flimsy and they were like 20 or 30 bucks. I guess it shouldn't be anymore than that.. since it's like a floppy drive for these cards. Anyone have any reccomendations or should I just grab the cheapest one I can find?

.. thanks !

I have a Sandisk Imagemate SDDR-31 reader (it's a USB unit)...works great with Windows 98SE; also works with Windows Me, but a little quirky. This unit looks like a small mouse, and is physically quite rugged. there are several others out there; perhaps folks who have other brands or use this one with other versions of Windows will comment about their experiences. This is the only one I have tried, and it gets the job done. Once in awhile it gives me an error message when I plug a card in (on the WMe box), but I just click the message to close it & it still works. Cost $22.99 at Best Buy2-3 months ago.
