Beautiful portrait.. look like he got some smaller little birdy...so goes the food chain.

Never did figure out what kind the other was. I think it was a sparrow. The meal was over in about 15-20 minutes.

Excellent capture, we get Merlins in the winter. I have to wait a bit to see one again.
