View Full Version : WTB: Eye Piece for Rebel XT

Went to a car show a few weeks ago and I think I lost it there. It had already broken on one side and pretty much just sat on there. So, I'm pretty sure it fell off pretty quickly. Anyone have one lying around?? Anyone know a better solution to them?? It seemed pretty inadequate even when it did stay on. Always slid off when I put my camera in the bag. Thanks in advance.

Olympus makes the ME-1 eyecup magnifier which fits the Rebel XT. I use it and it works great. It magnifies the size of the viewfinder by 1.2x. It takes a little while to get used to but it really does help.

The Nikon version that fits the D200 (Nikon DK-21M) also works. The magnification is minimal--I can't really tell much of a difference, but it's a little less expensive at $27 -ish.

I actually think the magnification was pretty substancial considering how small it is originally with the Rebel XT. Well, worth it IMO.
