Atta boy, Connie, if the cat was not soft, then its disposal would have required a lawn mower not a vacum.
Good job, laddie.

Snigger.. I love that.
The final shot needs the collar in there though... Just to drive the point home.
Oh, and a bald cat, streaking into the distance...

  Yeah ... had it for nearly 5 years and never once cleaned it. I usually have a Char do that stuff but can't find one here. Too poncy in St Albans. Even the Chars have Jags!

There once was a cat, quite a nice one,
Who found itself trapped in a Dyson.
It started to squeal,
"Is this friggin' real"?
What a great day for the mice, son.

what's a Char?.. and I don't think the cat is the issue.. Nope, I think it's the vaccuum... yep, my take is that it's too dirty to keep up with the cat.. who, by the way is always blameless.. I mean, if anybody has ever been around a cat you do know that they are at a level above the normal house pet..

I'm assuming that the contents of the Dyson pertain more to a ceremonial de-fluffing of the cat, rather than a navel lint-mining expedition on your part, Dave. If that is the sort of thing that comes off your cat regularly, then I imagine furballs are a problem for both of you, and would advise you to stop licking your cat, and to invest in some Hairball diet.

That hairball is truley disturbing. was that a mountain lion that hacked that bad boy up? oh and i finally got the joke. it's 4am... and i'm slow to start with.

You don't need a hamster, just stick your hand in....be sure to video it for YouTube, it'll be a smash!

You've clearly found a new vocation Gottherunsman ... thank goodness for that, I couldn't stand your photography :p :p

No one is blaming him, as such. The Cat lives within an urban environment. He sheds fur. The two do not go together ... and there are two pussies here too  So, something had to give.
If that is the sort of thing that comes off your cat regularly, then I imagine furballs are a problem for both of you, and would advise you to stop licking your cat, and to invest in some Hairball diet.
Thank you Doc Stevo ... your diagnostics seem sound. Does the hairball diet involve eating significant quantities of ice-lollies?

Well son, this is a 100m sprint not a f**kin' marathon ;-)

Oh yeah ... no cruelty hoomer here. Remember, I iz speaking in metaphor. Look deep within for the message.

Sadly, no. It is simply a high-fiber Kitty Kibble, that tastes, well, like cat food.

And that wasn't a new modern type of drum sander (urban cats need sand) (to grind your new parquet ... yes I first thought so, how foolish ...). It was a blender: "With Cat'O'Matic you make your neighbors happy!"

.Nah. Even with his considerable gear list I'd be beyond hope! I know that, at least in photography, equipment does not make the man. Otherwise, my Amex would never stop smoking. Fortunately for me, my joy of photography is in no way related to the amount of talent I don't possess ;)

Poor Zooey, all sweet and innocent. Minding his own sweet furry pussy business when along comes the vac. Did you note the look of resignation in his eyes? He knew the end was coming. :( Dave, if I believed for a second that you know how to start the vacuum, let alone how to run it then I might have been concerned for the yittle fuzzy butt. As I'm sure you're completely unawares of the trappings of said machine, I'll simply laugh, smile and move on secure in the knowledge that your fuzzykins is happily napping somewhere, licking his little boy bits and chasing dust bunnies. Cute series though, I agree with the aforementioned. A collar in the dust trap in the last image would have made it more convincing. :)
