I am still trying to decide which Software to buy. Can anyone give me examples of what CS3 gives that CS2 doesn't? Also The CS3 extended doesn't appear to offer Photographers much more than the standard. Am I wrong?

CS3 offers many more controls while processing your RAW images AND allows you to process JPG images now in the same manner.

It is a worth wide upgrade to get if you have the money. At least in my business it was.

The upgrade's $199 in the US but $320ish in the UK:( For exactly the same product, they don't even do a version written in ENGLISH, the closest we get is American English (sic).

So 'worth it' is a verrrry relative term.

Exactly. It's an absolute rip-off for the upgrade over here, and it's the main reason I haven't gone for it. There's no justification at all for the difference in price.

I absolutely agree. I found the upgrade to be definitely worth it.

Man that does, well I will keep it family nice, :) But yeah thats a big difference from the US to other areas of the world.

It works for my business so I wanted to post my thoughts.

I bought CS3 and I love it! It has big improvements with the Camera Raw processing, it also aligns photos very easily so that you can blend two photos very easily with good alignment, and finally it PERFECTLY does photo merges of multiple photos in a panorama blending the colors and seams. I've been very happy with the improvements. Unfortunately they don't yet have a very good "extract" feature or select feature. Keeps improving. I love Adobe.
