Can't see the top of the falls in the first, more contrast. I like a little faster shutter speed. When we look at a waterfall, we tend to follow the droplets with our eyes.
For the second, a bit brighter and more contrast.
Just my opinion, others may think differently.

Thanks,
I'm still learning and was going for the soft look in the first photo. The second was my first time shooting a B&W

should have went portrait mode on the waterfall and got the whole thing in with a bit of the pool.
The first one is laking the top of the falls and the second a base.
The dof is too shallow on the barn f-8 or f-11 would have been better.
It looks soft but too bring it up in software your going to over sharpen it.

I like img 1199 but a little more open more of the water. The first picture that was the problem more open. The people love to see the whole scene.
But a great job with 1199.
