Great Blue Heron with a 100mm Macro :?

Went to the butterfly house. Had my 100mm Macro on the camera. Walking by the pond here is what I came across. Where was the 100-400mm IS? Yep it was in the car :cry:

First couple seem to have a bit of purple tint. Was this from processing?
