I've had my G2 about 6 - 7 months and took it on our 1st trip to Europe last month. Sixty of the pics are posted at:

You are a wonder – and given my 32 Meg G2 CF – I envy your “gear”.
I loved your pictures and they brought back many memories. I was delighted to see that the G2 captures colors along the lines of the D30 , including some soft pale copper greens and oranges that from memory seem a bit like several that Pekka has posted on his home page.
My favorite was the Castle nestled against the steep mountainside. I just liked its composition. Of course the subset over Paris was a winner too. I do not recall seeing any sunset while I was there. I also liked the snow fields and cable car.
Thanks
HOWIE
PS: I “did Europe” in ’67 with my Minolta SR-1.

Howie,
The parisian sunset pic was 1 of 7 I took over a a 5 minute period shortly after 8 pm on May 15. Just lucky to be there at the right time after a long day of sightseeing but with enough left to get the camera out again. It was worth the effort. Our window on the 3rd floor of the hotel faced northwest and I was able to shoot this thru the glass w/o any problem. After taking the 1st pic and noting on the 2 sec preview that the pic was ok, I took the rest...Harvey
