This is my first attempt at fireworks. These were shot from across the lake. What do ya think?

I'd say you did a great job. Some shots need straightening a bit though, but other than that they are wonderfully exposed. The reflections on the water really makes these photos special.

Nice, did you use your 50 f1.8? or the kit lens?

I used the kit lens. Actually I didn't even think about using my 50mm.
