Help me pick the best photo

There is a photo competition, they will accept 1 (one) photograph of any kind, and frankly, I'm not sure which of my photos is the best, or the best to the general public, so please, help me choose one.

There are two 'People' photographs here, so I posted this here... should a mod deem it necessary to move it to a more appropriate subforum, please do so.

Not a fan at all of selective colouring, very unfashionable. But if I had to pick one I'd go for the cat.

Well it wasn't selective coloring, since selective coloring usually preserves one of the original colors while turning the rest to black and white, I was just mixing channels via a plugin.

if only the cat had ears....was that the way it was framed, or perhaps come out with the crop?

If it wasn't for the sunglasses, I'd certainly say the first one. I'm going to say the cat. I don't think it matters that the cat's ears are not in the picture. The thing I focused on while viewing it was the cat's nose and the neat contrast in colors between the grey fur and thing pink tongue. As someone alluded to earlier, the texture is well captured.

I very seldom crop my photos and the cat photo is also uncropped, I wanted nothing except the cat on the photo, therefore I had to omit the ears.

The poll is currently one vote in favor of the girl, second being the cat... The shot had to be done with glasses on, as the light was quite intense, 1/2000 @ f/2.5 ISO 100, we tried with glasses off but she was forced to frown and that didn't look good...

Personally I actually prefer the old lady in #2, but it's sort of sad, perhaps depressing so people tend to not love it...

Not a cat lover but I have to go with it! The colors on the girl and lady are not to my liking though the shots are nice. Glasses are too much the center of view

I like the cat as well...Dont like the glasses in the first and I personally like good vivid coloring, so thats why I would not say I like the first one...not a bad picture, just not my style...the 2nd is also good, but it dosnt grab me much and I am not a fan of car shots, even though yours is good, just not my fav.

the cat is neat 'cause of the monochromatic image w/ the pink tongue - people dig animals - it's a warm & fuzzy image

First one...simply a classic for me since I've seen it here before. The old lady photo does nothing for me, I'm sick of cat/animal photos (sorry), and the car is really cool, but the background makes it less appealing for me.

Seems like you're giving me a choice between the cat and the girl... I think I'd go with the girl, since yeah, the cat photos are flooding everywhere, but I'll wait for a couple more votes. :)
