Thinking about buying a good photo printer and come accross this at a discounted price.

Any good? How much are consumables for this?

Its not a bad printer but the downside is the cost of inks. It uses a colour cart and a photo cart. Looking at your gear, I'd say you would be better off getting the IP6700D or Pro9000 which will produce better print quality and colours than the IP6220D.

Do these 2 have cheaper consumables?

There's always the aftermarket route but I wouldn't recommend it. The upside is they use individual ink tanks so you just replace what you need. The inks in the IP6220D come in one cart, so if one colour runs out, you've got to replace the entire cartridge.
