Hi all -
I'm looking for an EXIF viewer, so that I can right click a file while within windows' explorer and see EXIF information.
Anyone know of something that will fit the bill WITHOUT adware, spam attention etc. I know I can do a search for this, but I thought I would ask your advice first, I wouldn't want to get something that opens me up to malicious stuff from the internet...
Thanks!

What version of Windows do you use? In Windows XP and later you can see EXIF data using right click in Windows Explorer (Right click/Properties then tab Summary then Advanced).

THANKS! I can't believe I have been using XP all this time (since 2004), and I didn't know I had the EXIF under my nose.

it doesn't seem to give you all the info, though.
I use irfanview, with the optional plugin for exif viewing, or firefox, with a plugin. Not quite one-click viewing, but that doesn't bother me.

picture and fax viewer in Vista shows it all at the bottom. Explorer in vista has a billion options to show it.
I just use zoombrowser.

I just heard the other day that Vista also has lots of basic editing options for photographs. I own MS Digital Suite 2006 which I really like for some basic stuff. MS quit selling this and their site says it is because Vista offers most of this within the program. I was just wondering if that is so, and have you tried any of it? Overall, how do you like Vista? Thanks.

Try adobe bridge if you can, it manages your pictures as well as showing all the file info

Use right click on any picture. Here (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/prophoto/photoinfo.mspx). It's from microsoft and for XP.

I really like Opanda's software. Having migrated now to the Mac I haven't found anything for Safari and the software that runs under Firefox isn't as good as Opanda's.
