Poor children of L aholics are reduced to reading books...can't afford Ipods or video games. :( :( Have to wear torn jeans....a tragic story..:( :(

Wow, what a rare sight, a child reading in the wild. Normally only those bred in captivity (school) are seen reading and it's usually forced upon them by their captors (teachers).

What a sight indeed :D

That's a good one. Bet it would make a nice stock photo.

They're both great captures. I hope my kids are good readers - I've always been a bit of a demon reader - right now I've nearly finished the 3rd book in an 11 book series - each around 700+ pages. Not for the faint hearted ;).

I love the photos but I find the frames distracting.

LOL nice...I prefer the first one, its more intimate and captures her well, something's lost in the second altho its a good one as well.

I like the first one best too.

Second one was for her. She wanted the willow tree to show in the shot. Customer is always right:lol:

What a shame. Middle of summer and she's outside reading under a shade tree, while her more fortunate peers are in dark basements playing Nintendo. Can't someone rescue this poor child from such deplorable circumstances?

Mean old home school parents force her read and learn math without calculators.......expect her to do homework and pass tests.....child abuselll:lol:

Thanks I will and I'll cherish every day I get to see her and love her. Shes my "promise child" in my old age.
