Yesterday I went for another ride on my kayak across the lake - found these hawks. They got quite excited and made a lot of noice.

Great set of shots Elfie. I've taken my camera in a canoe, but don't think I'd want to risk it in a kayak. :)

My kayak is called a Waterskate and it is like a katamaran - very stable. I have been out in high winds with 3 foot waves and no way would it tip. It is a great vehicle to get close to birds without making any noise.

It's got foot paddles? Now that would be great, don't have to put them down to grab the camera. :)

No foot paddles - look at CK100 model in blue (except mine is yellow).
