I have a stubborn booger in the far edge (top) of the frame. When you go to clone out in ACR the clone menu drops down and you can't clone extreme edges. It hides the edge under the menu. There is apparently no option to hide this menu or have it autohide.

Not a big deal, you can clone it out once opened. But if you have 30 landscape shots and want to clone all of them at once it's a pain.

Interesting. Sounds like a job for Bridge or Lightroom tho, rather than just direct in ACR.

I'm able to use the clone from within ACR and get to the edge.

This may or not help but -- you might try to adjust your settings from within CS3. My default setting for the screen mode is MAXINIZE SCREEN MODE ( CS3 pull down menu is: view - screen mode - maximine screen mode.

I'm able to move the image around within ACR using the hand tool to get past the edges.

I use Lr rather than ACR, does ACR allow you to hit the spacebar to quickly switch to hand mode to pan around like Lr does?
