Hi all,
I heard from many members said 100% crop. What is it all about?
How about 50% crop compare to 100% crop?

Well, most of the time people will post sized-down versions of images because the full size images are just too large.
So, to show parts of the full size image, we might just cut out a portion of the image and post that. That is known as a 100% crop (full size, but only portion of image vs smaller size but whole image)
Hope that makes sense.

You'll probably get two different replies; one will say it is a crop of a picture with the pixels at 100% size, others will say a 100% crop will give you nothing as you've just cropped the whole picture.
I suspect the majority here will go for the former, although that doesn't tell you how much of the picture has been cropped, only that it was full sized when it was cropped.

Another way of saying the same thing is that the crop of the image shown has exactly the same number of pixels as the "corresponding" area of the original image.
