I know that there are a ton of tripod threads and I think that I have read all of them, but I have narrowed my choices down to two heads, and two legs. So I would like your expert opinions.

Legs-
1. 3021BPRO Tripod Legs (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/217263-REG/Bogen_Manfrotto_3021BPRO_3021BPRO_Tripod_Legs_Blac k_.html)
2. 190XPROB Tripod Legs

Heads-
1. 488RC2 ballhead
2. 322RC2 grip action ballhead

I think that I want the grip action head, but I just cannot decide on the legs.

Not sure about the legs, but the 488RC2 is a great ballhead.

I absolutely hate the grip-action heads but use a 488RC2 quite frequently. This is a personal thing, though, and I suggest you go to a good photo store that carries both to see how you feel (literally) about them.

The 322 grip-action head is a lot harder to pack into a tripod bag for transport than the 488 ball head. I can also see it getting very much in the way when carrying the tripod across my back with a strap as I do frequently.

The 488RC2 has something the 322 does not - the ability to release the lever and rotate the camera horizontally without releasing the main ball. This is often quite useful.

The 3021BPro is taller and a little more sturdy than the 190. The 3021BPro the perfect height for me, as I can use it with the center column all the way down most of the time. This is the sturdiest way to use the tripod, of course. I'm 5'10" tall, by the way, and use the 488RC2 on top of the 3021.

Same as Skip said. I also read a thread about the grip head getting in the way of mounting some lenses. Just a thought. You need to get some hands on with one.
